The Cork Cathedral Family of Parishes is delighted to launch its Climate Justice Education Project.
Inspired by Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ and its call to care for our common home. Under the theme “Living the Dream for the Beauty of the Earth,” the project will provide opportunities to learn, reflect and take action on climate justice, biodiversity and our shared responsibility for creation.
The launch will feature Dr Lorna Gold, Executive Director of the Laudato Si’ Movement, as keynote speaker, with Bishop Fintan Gavin in attendance. Dr Gold is a leading voice on climate action, faith and ecological justice and has worked extensively in advocacy, climate policy and sustainable development.
The morning will also include a panel presentation and discussion, bringing together different perspectives on how faith communities can respond practically to the challenges facing our common home.
